Auction Success

The Friends of Photojournalism Silent Auction saw its closing last night as a huge success. Despite dismal weather conditions, some hardy individuals showed up and pledged their support for our cause.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who came by the auction during the last month as well as all of our sponsors and contributers who have been nothing short of amazing.

Above is a selection of photographs taken by PJ/One members during their spring break from school.

The Friends of Photojournalism Silent Auction will be coming to a close on Friday evening at Hidden Light LLC. Starting with the Frist Friday Art Walk at 6:00pm the gallery will be open to viewing and bidding. Starting at 7:00pm sections of the auction will begin to close, so be sure to come on time!

The Friends of Photojournalism Silent Auction kicked off on Friday, March 6 with a bang, bringing in a record amount of bids on photographs and artwork. The auction will continue until April 3, 2009. Please come in to Hidden Light LLC and check out the beautiful work generously donated to the PJ/One club by professional photographers and artists from around the nation.

A special thanks goes out to Paul Mobley, who was in Flagstaff for a few days. While in Flagstaff he met with students, reviewed portfolios, spoke about his book and told the incredible stories behind some of his powerful photographs and helped kick off the auction on Friday evening.
